Philips Fidelio FA7 brings high-fidelity stereo sound to compact Micro-Hi-Fi
September, 2026 – Philips Sound introduces the Philips Fidelio FA7, a new Micro-Hi-Fi Music System combining high-fidelity stereo sound with a comprehensive range of music sources and modern wireless connectivity.
Launching in October 2026 at €599.99 / £509.99, the FA7 delivers 120W RMS of bi-amped stereo power, with dedicated amplification for its 5.25-inch woven glass-fibre mid/woofer drivers and 1-inch titanium dome tweeters. The system is designed to deliver a wide, detailed soundstage with deep, controlled bass, clear midrange and smooth, detailed highs.
The FA7 supports a wide range of sources, including CD, DAB+ and FM radio, internet radio and podcasts, alongside high-resolution wireless streaming. Wi-Fi connectivity includes AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Lossless, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect, while Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC, LC3 and Auracast provide additional flexible listening options.
The system can also connect to external sources such as a turntable, TV or games console, with optical, RCA, USB-A and 3.5mm audio inputs.
Designed to echo the look of classic hi-fi separates, the FA7 combines a brushed aluminium main unit with high-gloss piano-black speakers, removable magnetic speaker grilles and a clear colour display. Control is available via the supplied remote or the Philips Entertainment app, which also provides access to sound settings, source selection and firmware updates.
The Philips Fidelio FA7 will be available from October 2026 for €599.99 / £509.99.
